It’s 5 in the morning. “One of those nights” seems to come around every other one. If I could describe my thoughts in one word right now, that word would be “jumanji.” Don’t ask me why, because I don’t even know if jumanji has a real meaning to it, or if it’s actually just the name of that movie. …..I loved that movie. I have a toothache that’s making the left side of my head and ear hurt. It’s not a pleasant thing, but things could be worse. I am going through one of my mid-life crises’.

Ever realize how easy it is to be alone? Like, single? It’s so easy, yet we don’t notice that when we actually are alone. When we think about getting involved with someone, we think about the chances of getting hurt. Never do we think about the fact that there is a chance that we might end up being the reason why someone else is hurt. We’re subconsciously always looking for the chance to play victim. You always have to look out for number one, I get that…But sometimes the choices one has to make isn’t right for everyone involved. Even if that wasn’t our intention.. I don’t really like the whole “hurting you was never my intention” thing…Like, okay? That doesn’t change the fact that you did. And we often really don’t mean to hurt people, but there’s always that chance, and if we payed more attention to that chance, we’d play our cards smarter. Knowing you’ve hurt someone, like genuinely hurt someone, has to be one of the worst feelings in the world. My advice? Try your best not to do so. I would be the type to distance myself from people, not to not get hurt, but to not hurt them instead. Like I said, being alone is so easy. Feelings don’t get hurt, hearts don’t get broken. It’s really a blessing in disguise.
